• Step 1: This park originated as a deer park in the 14th century for the noble Carew family, whose manor house still stands in the park today. There’s parking at the cafe.

• Step 2: The cafe also sells safe duck food 😜 you might need it later.

• 

  Step 3: Start or end at the Pavilion Cafe. Great for kids and opposite the playground. They have a top ice cream selection too. Don’t tell the kids.

• 

  Step 4: Try and tear the little ones away and promise them a go on return? Good luck 😉

• 

  Step 5: Follow the gate out behind the cafe.

• 

  Step 6: Take a turning off the park to walk the woodland way. It’s behind the bushes.
