• Step 1: Starting outside Charing Cross station head east along the Strand.

• 

  Step 2: As you walk along the busy road look out for the stunning architecture, especially the grand entrance to the Savoy Hotel.

• 

  Step 3: Turn right down past Savoy Row with its beautiful iron cast fence and gate.

• 

  Step 4: At the bottom of Savoy Street turn left onto Embankment. Walk past Somerset House, your first opportunity to stop and see some art.

• 

  Step 5: As you continue to walk along Embankment, you pass Temple underground station.

• 

  Step 6: Take a quick rest by exploring the Victoria Embankment gardens, see if you can spot some famous London landmarks through the trees.
