  • Step 1: Welcome πŸ€— I’m Neil Goldwasser of the Neurodiversity Support team at City, University of London, and today I will be your virtual host for a special mindful walk as part of Neurodiversity Celebration Week 2022. I hope you enjoy it!

  • Step 2: Mindfulness is about living in the present and taking time to connect with your environment. This has particular benefit to people with Specific Learning Differences (SpLDs) such as dyslexia and ADHD, even more so when in nature!πŸ’

  • Step 3: Today you’ll experience a 2.3 mile walk through tranquil green spaces near campus, with a few interesting sights thrown in for good measure… I hope you get fully immersed in the route, but remember to watch out for traffic too! ⚠️🚘

  • Step 4: It’s a circular walk starting and ending at the main campus on Northampton Square, designed to calm active minds and support positive mental health. It’s also ideal for lunch in the hidden gems you’ll discover en-route! 🀩 Let’s go

  • Starting from the bandstand, with the University Building on your left and the College Building behind you, walk straight on Sebastian St.
