  Step 1: Castle on the Hill Walk in Framlingham

• Step 2: You can park for free in the English Heritage Car Park for Framlingham Castle. Head over onto the main Castle Field through the white gates

• Step 3: Once through the white gates, make a beeline for the right hand side of the field enjoying views of the castle on your left, there you will see a path through the tree line, follow this.

• Step 4: As you follow the path round you come to an open meadow, rather than follow the meadow down the hill, head right, into the far corner and you will come to the roadway

• Step 5: You will step on the path for about 10 feet where you can then walk adjacent to the roadway in the field, passing the old pillbox on your right, follow the path round to the field to the little bridge

• Step 6: Go over the bridge and head up to the corner, bearing right along another field, don’t forget to look behind you an take in the views of the Castle
