  Step 1: Start at Brixton Police Station on Canterbury Sq, which is a new public space created from a previously used car park for police vehicles.

• Step 2: This new public space is step-free. The areas rich history is detailed in the enamel plaque and specially designed cast iron makers denote the course of the old river Effra that ran beneath the Sq.

  Step 3: Go east onto Gresham Road towards Wiltshire Road passing the Karibu Education Center.

  Step 4: Turn left down Wiltshire Road, passing Max Roach Park which has a nature trail than extents to the Rush Common.
